Lightbulb What is the next transport/utility helicopter Hobby Master should release?

Here's another one for you. Transport/utility helicopters - big and small, old and new.

Which one should Hobby Master build after the famous Bell UH-1?

Re: What is the next transport/utility helicopter Hobby Master should release?

If a moderator could please edit "Being CH-47 Chinook (models A through G)" and correct it to "Boeing CH-47 Chinook (models A through G)" that'd be great.

If a moderator could also please delete the thread I closed after I messed up making a poll, that'd be even better.

I didn't have room for everything - hence the lack of UH-60 Black Hawk as an option. That subject has already been covered by Corgi and now Forces of Valor anyways.

Re: What is the next transport/utility helicopter Hobby Master should release?

Why have the S58/Wessex and Chinook on the list? Corgis Wessex is just about perfect and their Chinook has lots of life in it yet more of both these to come I think.I know what is going to be but I want

Done (very nicely) by Corgi.

Just took a look at the Tricatus site and saw it, and you are right it does look nice. Had seen their Westland Wessex but not the Choctaw.

Re: What is the next transport/utility helicopter Hobby Master should release?

I vote for the Sea Stallion or the Chinook. Corgi hasn't made any modern Chinooks (D and F models) yet, and I'd like to get one in an OIF livery. I also saw MH-53s on the flight line in Balad, so I'd be in favor of them as well.

Re: What is the next transport/utility helicopter Hobby Master should release?

It's not on the list, but I'd kill for a CH-54 Tarhe! It was the US Army's heavy hauler which dropped BLU-82 Daisy cutters making instant landing zones in the thick jungle. It could carry two UH-1 Huey's at the same time, any tank in the US Army and almost any USAF aircraft except monsters like the B-52 plus SEA containers filled with goodies. It had an adaptable pod which could carry a mobile command and control post, repair shop, blood bank, air conditioned surgery room or 45 combat ready troops! Amazing contraption!

Sorry for all the pictures but I just wanted you to get the idea of how big it was
