HM Mirage 2000 series

Hi guys. Would appreciate any opinions out there on the Mirage 2000. I''m thinking of buying the French Desert Storm version but it seems that the 8 missiles & bombs the kit includes have no markings or stencilling on them. Is this accurate? Also, it seems that I won't be able to build a wheels up version as the forward nose gear doors are molded in the open position. All comments welcomed. TIA Norm

Welcome to the forum, Norm. Hey, are you familiar with a little bar in Boston called Cheers? Where everybody knows your name?

OK, OK ... that was absolutely stupid. Back to business ...

Wish I could help you with the Mirage, but I don’t own one. I can say, however, that your decision to purchase a Hobby Master model is laudable. They’re the best in the business.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Norm, I have that model version, don't know about the accuracy of the ordinance on the Mirage being correct, but I highly recomend it. It's a Mirage and HM makes so it's good.

Re: HM Mirage 2000 series

I got the Tiger Meet one and the quality is excellent. I've been tempted to get one of the others, but they're starting to recognize me through the mask down at the credit union. The model of the 2000 could easily be used as a heavy spear point; along with the A-4, it probably has the most weight for the least area of any model I own. However, about bombs and rockets, I know nothing...

I know nothing of the Bombs and missles but they did correct the nose gear door problem staring with the Tiger meet 2000.
