The next Hobby Master MiG

Until now, Hobby Master has the Fishbed as its only MiG. In recent threads, the possibilites of a MiG-15 or a MiG-17 models were discussed. So, in your opinion, which of the "jet" MiGs should be the next one on HM line?

Re: The next Hobby Master MiG

You're abit behind the power curve. HM has said it will release a Mig 15 by the end of the year. Some people would prefer a Mig 19 to battle the Phantom.

Re: The next Hobby Master MiG

As has been noted, HM is doing a Mig-15. Therefore, I voted for the Mig-23 as the next Mig due to its massive Warsaw Pact deployment, and the possibility that the basic mold could be reworked to turn out the ground attack variant, the Mig-27.

My vote is for the big bad Mig 25, they would sell tons of them.

I prefer MiG-27 because I have a soft spot for ground pounders.

Re: The next Hobby Master MiG

I voted for the Mig-23, the camo and country variants are huge. Plus it would be a great addition to place next to any US cold war jet.

Re: The next Hobby Master MiG

Since the MiG-15 is already is in the works, I voted for the MiG-17. Why not just make 'em all in order? Plus, a MiG-17 in North Vietnamese colors would be a nice complement... err, adversary for other Vietnam War-era craft from HM and CW.

But before I see any other MiGs, I wanna see an HM MiG-21 in North Vietnamese livery. I just don't like the Corgi Predators line, with the big Corgi stamped on the bottom. Bleech.

Re: The next Hobby Master MiG

I voted for the MiG-17 as the most likely choice after the MiG-15. Like I said before, it is the obvious choice and will compliment the IAF A-4 and the Vietnam War of the USAF and Navy Phantoms. I would definitely like to see the MiG-23/27 variants as well if HM continues to produce more Soviet jet fighters down the road.

Check this out. This a unique MiG-23 in Israeli markings!

Re: The next Hobby Master MiG

Nice pic FlyXWire...Here's one of an "expropriated" Israeli MiG 17. The stripes and rudder are red. Of course I would prefer an operational scheme on the MiG, say Egypt, but this would make a cool strip and repaint!

Re: The next Hobby Master MiG

Since it looks like a Mig 15 is in the works, I put my vote in for a Mig 23. It would be neat to have either the Mig 23 or Mig 27, kind of like to have one of the swing wing birds.
