Hobbymaster Mig 15

William has said on the DAF Forum that we should be seeing the Mig 15 before the end of the year

Look out, boys ... that'll be an instant classic! Better pre-order the second you see it.

Re: Hobbymaster Mig 15

Great news about the Mig-15. There was no indication of the scale, however, so let me state my preference for 1:72nd. Can you clarify this for us, William?

Re: Hobbymaster Mig 15

I was just thinking of adding one of the cheapo Franklin Mint versions too. Great news HM!

A 72nd scale Mig-15 is long overdue!

Re: Hobbymaster Mig 15

My preference would by for 1/48 scale, because not only is it a small plane in real, it would perfectly complement F9F and it would not be bigger than before mentioned.I can already see some interesting Honcho, Egiptian, Czech and E.German markings! Thank you HM.

In comparison to the F9Fs, I agree.

But, how about a VPAF MiG-17 in 1/72?

Re: Hobbymaster Mig 15

It would be nice to finally see a quality Mig 15 available. 1/72nd scale would be what I would like to see.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

I agree a Mig 15 would be better done in 1/72nd scale to compliment the existing Hobby Master jets. the F-4,F-100 and F-104 & Mig 21. Surely HM can do a North Vietanese Mig 21.

That might be but the MiG-15 is a Korean War era bird and it will compliment the Corgi F-86 Sabre. I was hoping HM will do a MiG-17 first as it is the main adversary that will compliment the Israeli A-4s and Vietnam War F-4s that HM had already produced.
