Re: HM FW-190 Poll

An FW 190A in 1:48 would be awesome. Anything to save us from the Franklin Mint.

Thank you Larz, I completely agree with you. If a model has only been done by FM/A, it hasn't really been done yet!

Re: HM FW-190 Poll

I'm voting for 1/48 so I could possibly get more than one

Though I hope they come with weathering etc.

Re: HM FW-190 Poll

I myself would prefer the 1/32 FW-190. Between Carousel 1, FM, and 21 Century I think its been covered pretty well in 1/48. Everybody was screaming at Corgi when they had there1/32 line up for a FW-190, now that Corgi is currently out of the picture (we will have to wait to see what if Hornby does anything) I think its great that HM is stepping up to the plate. Hopefully they will sort out any QC issues before the first release( no droopy props, or short pilots) I will be getting 1 for sure and depending on the schemes possibly more.

Re: HM FW-190 Poll

The Fw-190A has only been done by FM/A in 1/48 scale and it's not very good. 21st Century has a 1/32 scale plastic model and C1 did a 1/48 scale Fw-190D (a completely different looking variant). We still need a good 1/48 scale Fw-190A.

Re: HM FW-190 Poll

I would like to see a 1:48 FW190 A, I can't branch into 1:32 except for a "stand alone" model, and I can visualize a good half dozen variants and liveries for this bird without even trying......My favorite choice for HM in 1:32 would be a Ju87D-G series, and rather than an FW190A,how about a Bf109K? Just like them pointy nose airplanes,I guess.In1:48th,I would fill a whole shelf with different 109K liveries!!

Re: HM FW-190 Poll

I think that 1/32 would provide the possibility of more detail (guns, engine, control surfaces) and yet the model would not bee too large. 1/32 is my vote!

Re: HM FW-190 Poll

I would love to see a 1/48 version, no way I will pony up the cash for a 1/32 version though.

Re: HM FW-190 Poll

I would have to go with the 1:32 on this one because it will sit nicely with my Corgi Bf109's,Spitfires and P-51D's...
Like Pappy said FM (not the best one) has already put one out and C1 made a different Fw190 in 1:48 too...
The only one in 1:32 right now is 21st Century and it's plastic..not a bad looking one either..But i would
hope we see some good planes down the road for this 1:32 line....Hey and don't forget
William that 1:32 F4U Corsair...
