Hm Fw 190 1/32

I am surprised that forum has not picked up on the buzz that gripping the DAF forum in the UK over the news that Hobbymaster may well be doing a 1/32 FW 190.
In answer to a question about when would we be hearing about this Model William replied " Hi,

I have the budget approved. But we want to make it official only after we have determined the retail price."

If this is true, I'll be getting at least one of them.

1/32nd Fw 190 would make for a neat addition and would be hard to pass up on.

Re: Hm Fw 190 1/32

I would've rather had it in 1/48 than 1/32 to go with the Spitfire. I think $100-$150 is going to be out of reach of my wallet for something I already have a fine example of in plastic and for much, much less.

Second on that, and it would have looked nice with my C1 Doras. In 1:32, I'll pass on the butcher bird even if it'll be on GMP-level.

Regards,

Sergey

From what I read in the original post at DAF (if I recall correctly), the buzz originated in a post originally made here at MH2. Good to hear they're going ahead "balls out" with another release - it's just a shame that it'll be 1:32.

Re: Hm Fw 190 1/32

Nice to see this one being made...Hope it's a cool looking paint scheme which is very important when you start off with something like this.
I really hope to see a 1:32 F4U Corsair in diecast someday...

Re: Hm Fw 190 1/32

I'd rather a smaller one too I think but we'll see what schemes they do. I would get one in the same splinter camo that the Corgi Yellow 2 is in for sure but other than that....I have enought 190s to sink a battleship (if they're armed with cannon or rockets that is).

A ton of aircraft profiles here. Scroll through the pages at the bottom. Hundreds of aircraft from all over.

Re: Hm Fw 190 1/32

1/32 FW 190 would be great hopefully it will be a Dora. Between HM coming out with a 1/32 model I'm interested in and purchasing my first of many GMP 's
I see a trip to IKEA in the future for another Detolf or 2.

Re: Hm Fw 190 1/32

I'll be the lone dissenter. I'm excited that a high quality 1/32 Fw 190 is going to be made. I hoped Corgi would do one, but HM doing one is just as good (maybe better, I've not seen their other 1/32 birds). These will go well with my 1/32 Corgi Bf 109s. If the price is not outrageous, I'll probably get them all. If it's $150.00 like their other 1/32s, one will probably be all. I hope it's an Fw 190 A or G, hopefully NOT A DORA!! I've got a 1/48 Dora which will go well with the HM 1/48 Spit that's on its way, I don't need another one. Just my opinion.
