| Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes. | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Seafire Unfortunately, that model of the Seafire F.47 would not match up too well with the current mold. The wings, tailplanes, and most of the fuselage is different. This Seafire is similar to the Mk. 22/24 Spitfire-- the last model of the Spitfire. I have long wanted a diecast Mk. 22/24 Spitfire in any scale, particularly 1/72 or 1/32 scale. A Seafire F. 47 would be most welcome as well. | |||||||||||||

I'm with you, B6! Possibly the most elegant and sexy looking Spitfire variant and a dream-fulfilled if HM will spit out (pun intended) a diecast of it!

| Re: Seafire Well, the most obvious differences from HM Spitfire Mk XVI (the Johnny Johnson mount) would the tall tail section with an Arrester Hook and the longer Contra-Rotating propeller nose hub for the Seafire verions (Mk 45/46/47). It would be far for me to assume that HM will likely retool their mold to accomodate those changes, but then again William and company are very receptive group of folks who do listen to their loyal customer base. | ||||||||||||||

| I'm up for a Seafire! The contraprop version as stated wouldn't work though. That said, there surely must have been a similar variant to the current HM mold. The last pics by Fly seem to bear that out. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Seafire
How do you figure that? surely it wouldn't be that difficult to work around the obvious problems the contra prop presents. Also it would be a success as to my knowledge the only other seafire available is a early model franklin mint one and I don't need to state that hobby master blown them out of the water.
