A request for Liaison Planes from HM

Usually die cast companies run away from making liaison planes...but in my opinion Bird Dog would be a big seller either in 1/72 or 1/48 scale., Piper L-4 also...lots of different liveries lots of different countries and many forgotten heroic acts.

Re: A request for Liaison Planes from HM

I would love a Cessna L-19 Bird Dog in either 1:72 or 1:48

Re: A request for Liaison Planes from HM

In addition to the Piper and Reliant, I'd love a Storch.

I second that request for an L-19. I'd love to see an O-2 Skymaster and OV-10 Bronco for FAC to guide in the zoomies for my troops on the ground in 1:72 scale

Re: A request for Liaison Planes from HM

These are excellent subjects.

I believe we will start with a Storch and the Cessna L-19 (if we are going to start in the near future).

Re: A request for Liaison Planes from HM

That would be awesome. THe L-4, L-5, and O-2 need done as well. 1/48th would be the best scale for these.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: A request for Liaison Planes from HM

Going larger than 1:72nd scale for such planes seems a bit risky in terms of world wide sales potential. I've got a 1:72nd scale Storch in plastic and it's a decent sized bird.

Re: A request for Liaison Planes from HM

You are right about the size, but it's the way the whole thing is built that concerns me...

I'm afraid it would be difficult to make a faithful small scale replica of this plane.

That said, if happily I'm wrong, I would be very keen on a 1/72 Storch ! (I'd buy at least a German and a French one, and if available, also an Italian and a Swiss one...)
