Re: Official Request for the Douglas Skyraider

Hello! *cough cough* This is, umm, not Folgore, this is... someone else... on the forum... who's using Folgore's name and avatar for reasons that I can't go into right now.

First off, Folgore's suggestion of an MC.202 is great! Fantastic! Good one, Folgore!

Also, how about an I-16, I-153, MiG-3, IL-2, Arado 196 and J7W1 Shinden? All in 1:72, of course!

By the time HM puts out those models, we'll know for sure if GA's Skyraider is going to materialize, and if it's any good.

Oh, by the way, you should probably give Folgore free models. You know, for the MC.202 suggestion. Again, this is someone who's not Folgore, so this suggestion is no way self-serving. Folgore is very busy at work and wouldn't have time to write this. I mean, I imagine Folgore is very busy at work. I'm not him, so I wouldn't know for sure.

Thanks!

Please include my vote! A hobby master release in 1:72 in navy colors with the bumblebee, or the USAF camouflauge. A-1A Skyraider single seat. I never liked the two seater.

Re: Official Request for the Douglas Skyraider

William I hope you are reconsidering the A-1 in 1/72 scale. Alot of model manufacture's build the same aircraft. It gives variety. Because of this reason I think you should also reconsider the A-7. We need those USAF/ ANG, Thai,Greek and others. CW only does naval aircraft and has not been proven otherwise.
I'm looking forward to future Century series jets F-101, F-102,F-105 and F-106. Last but not least the F-111 and a F-5/F-5B/T-38

Re: Official Request for the Douglas Skyraider

Not sure if this has been suggested, how about HM does a Skyraider in 1/48th? Only reason I brought it up, my neighbor who collects as well (but has said he will not buy anything else until a Skyraider is released in 1/48th, his words not mine) has mentioned this multiple times to me. I informed him of a 1/72 version that's supposed to come out (I'll believe that when I see it from GA), but he seemed disinterested. 1/48th for the Skyraider would allow for HM not to do what GA is already doing, the main reason that William gave for not doing the 1/72 version. Just a thought.
