Future F-4 liveries

In my opinion HM mould permitting should do at least 15-20 Phantom liveries, please post your suggestions and with each picture if you can explain in few words background of your wanted aircraft-My first two are F-4E CHICO THE GUNFIGHTER due to its unique payload arrangements and special tasking. Second would be F4F JG 71 SPECIAL due to Hartmanns tulip and striking colour sheme.

My #1 choice would be Jerry “Devil” Houston's plane:

"Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men." General George S. Patton

Hartmann's tulip was black

I like that one also-- trouble is, that it is an F4B not an F4J as HM produces. An F4B requires mold changes and as far as I know, there are no plans for HM to do an F4B or N. Now, if Century Wings is going to do a series of Phantoms, the F4B would be a natural....

Re: Future F-4 liveries

Ya, I would love to see one like this, or the grey one in the Phantom heritage picture. Both seem American and have 'long-noses' and shark mouths =)

Re: Future F-4 liveries

Moved from the VMFA-451 thread. Here's a link with some good pics of jarhead Phantoms-

The VMFA-115 bird is pretty colorful; and there's an alternate VMFA-451 scheme.

Re: Future F-4 liveries

Thanks, smartd. A Greek multi-tone grey (similar to their F-16 camo), a JASDF multi-tone blue F-4EJKai and an IAF bird are must have E-models in my book.

Re: Future F-4 liveries

I am usally not a fan of special paint jobs but the JG 71 Red F-4F would go great with my Red F-104S. Hey Rush how ya doing?
