Any support for VMF-451 F-4J Phantom II?

Please keep this thread for support for this scheme if you want it. Please don't post any other squadron schemes in this thread. If there's enough support, hopefully William will take a gander and do it.

Hi,

This is a lovely one and HM has already got enough information to develop this. The Death Angel is also very attractive but I believe more people like the blue nose one?

For other things, we are developing a more complete set of weapons for the F-4 to suit different models :

1) most AIM-9s (B, D (for Navy), E (for AF), J, L types)
2) AMRAAM (to suit F-4F)
3) SUU-23A Gun Pod
4) AIM-4 (D&G types)
5) Genie Missiles (still trying to locate information on how it is attached)

This new development will take us a while for around 2.5 months to 3 months so the F-4F Molders is re-scheduled to around October.
Thanks for the patience in advance.

I see no reason for not doing them both with few months separation, very popular liveries, both should sell outstandingly well

Yeah, that blue-noser is pretty nice, but personally I do kinda like the red-nose Death Angel a little better. With a gun pod, please!

Nrrrm! Whoosh! Rat-tat-tat!

William,

If I may, as far as I know, the Phantoms didn't use the Genie operationally as the F-101B, F-106A, and F-89J did. In my reference book of Bill Gunston's Illustrated Encyclopedia of the World's Rockets and Missiles , there is a photo of NF-4E showing a successful test firing of an AIM-4 Falcon on a converted B-17 target drone. I'm not suggesting you do not include Genies in the weapons sets, in fact I do welcome it.

This a photo of the NF-4E with two inboard Genie missiles configuration, the only photo I could find on the net so far.
