| Re: Any support for VMF-451 F-4J Phantom II? You can throw my hat in the ring for that livery. But then again, I'll buy all the Phantoms. The weapons sets for the Phantoms is great, too. I'd like to be able to outfit the Ritchie model with a pure air-to-air load-out. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Any support for VMF-451 F-4J Phantom II? I'd get it. I'm more partial to Navy stuff, but that's an attractice scheme and I'd for up the money for it. Of course we can use a little (emphasis on the "little") break between models, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's wallet has taken a beating in these last couple of weeks/months. ![]() | |||||||||||||

| Re: Any support for VMF-451 F-4J Phantom II? I'm not the best one to judge as I'm not planning to buy tons of F-4s but I'd probably pass on this one as it is a short lived non-operational scheme. | |||||||||||||

I'm with you on that one. Almost too many good things out right now, which isn't a bad thing unless its a very limited run and I'll miss my chance to pick it up later.

Hi conemaugh! You can easily remove the TER with bombs from the middle pylon of the Ritchie F-4 for a pure air to air loadout. That's how I've displayed my copy of this model. You can reattach the TER with bombs later if you so desire. I've also done this successfully using white glue. Also, the Sidewinders aren't firmly attached to the rails so one can also display this model with the middle wing pylons plus rails without the missiles. The missile rails can also be detached from the pylon without too much effort. Essentially I have been able to detach/disassemble and then reattach/reassemble the things mounted via the middle wing pylons. Marine Phantoms especially with wall to wall bomb loads would definitely be welcome!
