Possible Schemes For HM's Possible Val

OK. Maybe I'm jumping the gun but the sales success of HM's Kate makes me think about the "impending" Val. Here are a few possible schemes worth noting.

Anyone of those schemes would do just fine for me!

Neat looking Val paint schemes. Maybe something to look forward to next year.

The explanation given by the guy who made the orange one was that some Vals were painted in this high visibility manner so others in the same units could form up on them. That was a new one for me, but, perhaps one of our Japanese experts may wish to comment on this.

The light gray one seen in the Dec 7th take-off reels of the PH attack is the one I want. I really cannot imagine the Val in any other clothes.

flat light gray - bad...semi-gloss light olive gray - good!

Re: Possible Schemes For HM's Possible Val

I like the red-tailed fellow in light gray; that scheme seems pretty classic... but, please, not the sunburned Val to his left!

I like nearly all of the above, but......that orange version burns my retinas.
