UPS dropped off a Kate today.

UPS dropped off the first HM Kate at the house today, and it looks pretty nice. The only problem with it though. Was it supposed to come with a bomb or a torpedo? If it was, mine was missing in action, because there was neither a bomb or a torpedo with this model. It is a nice looking model and really like that you can display it with the canopy open, three crew members and rear armament.

Re: UPS dropped off a Kate today.

Finally found the bomb! I called Pete (Of Pete's Collectibles) and asked if there was a bomb or torpedo with this one. He told me to check the stand, and there it was (Thanks Pete). I am now completely satisfied with this model (Ok pilots are a wee bit short, but I can fix that). Another great job by the folks at Hobby Master!

Oh, man, I’m salivating. All this drool’s screwing up my decrepit metal body, dog gone it. I’m just glad I pre-ordered this little treasure before she vanished. Honestly, I'm thinking it might be a REAL GOOD IDEA to pre-order ALL Hobby Master models from now on. Otherwise I might end up with nuttin'!

Haha glad you found the bomb Cruver collecter! HM has been getting interesting in the placement of certain parts lately. For example the A-4's landing gear are in with the stand as well. But I will forgive them because their models more than make up for the extra searching around the box.

I have the next two Bf 110s, next Brewster Buffalo, Grumman F3F-1 and next two Kates on pre-order already. I have yet to be dissapointed with any of the HM models.

Since I found the bomb, here is a shot of the Kate sporting it's bomb.
