Always last to the party but at long last my Kate arrived today !

Happy days , first the weekend at Duxford and then coming home to find the Kate waiting for me.

Well you guys were right, its a beauty,

I love it, very nicely done HM.
I note that the panel lines are just about spot on and the paint job is perfect.
I was a little worried about the joint line between wings and fuselage, it looks very big on the photos, even on the box lid it shows them as being big.
When I took the model out of the box I was delighted to find that the joints are nice and no gaps.

Now to look at my must have list for the next purchase.

Just opened the box on the first Kate. Got it from Aiken's, and they were great. The model is flawless. The seams are tight. The paint job is smug free. The pad printed details are in perfect registration. And we have an aircrew! I've already have the next two on pre-order.

But where does the rear cockpit window suppose to go when the gun is in place?

There isn't a spare part to replicate it being in 'open' position, so is this an error???
