Thanks for posting the pics kingpin. I'll say it again, IMHO this is pretty much a diecast masterpiece.

Agreed.. Diecast porn at its finest! Even with the small inaccuraccies, this is probably one of THE most anticipated releases in the last 5 years.

Re: A few rough F-4 Showtime pics

I'm sure many of you are loving the fact that there's apparently no wash on the final version, but IMHO I think the pre-pros look better because of the wash. It's not enough to stop me from buying one, but I do prefer the wash. (if anything, it would help that rather large seam near the bee to blend in a little more)

UNCLE! UNCLE! OK! Its a looker! For cryin' out loud though, will HM ever slow down! Blue Angels is comin' in a few weeks, and then JR after that. One has to draw some lines... where??!! I had this one on my wish list but replaced it with the above two, and now you guys are killin' me!

I prefer no wash as it keeps the panel lines subtle, just like they should be.

...yeah - the shadows the engraved lines produce do more than enough to announce themselves! They don't need anymore emphasis in my opinion.

PLEASE keep the price where it is on this HM! This way we can afford to buy MANY more Phantoms. I don't want to be able to only buy a few like my Century Wings!

Yep I agree - The overemphisis due to the wash is what killed the A4 for me.

Ooops!
