Re: Suggested schemes for HM Fw-190A8?

Well not really...It was more of a personal choice i think when William made a remark on it in another thread...You know Cardo starting it by saying he wants to see a Fw190A and the next thing you know William said he likes the Fw190A8 himself....He put's that 8 in there.......So some may take that as a hint.....
So now as you know that can spread like wildfire in the diecast world.
JP

Or it could be that he just favours the A8 over the other A's. And given that he said he should stop talking now, i think thats a hint that could be either it may be in development so everything should be hush hush or that we are taking too many of the things he says for granted and then he cant have a normal conversation with everyone here without people assuming its going to end up being done.

That could very well be true too.

Kind of like the idea of an Fw 190 F model, finally get some fighter bombers.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Thanks JP, one tries to make a difference ...

As for the comments regarding 'taking things for granted', I really don't think that is the case at all. Well considered speculation and 'hint-dropping' drives discussion and generates excitement for new diecast models and liveries - in many ways it's what keeps collectors interested and is the life-blood of forums like this .

I cannot speak on behalf of William or HM but I suspect that he enjoys this process as much as we all do and at the end of the day it's good for business - roll on the possibility of a HM 1/32 FW190A .

Re: Suggested schemes for HM Fw-190A8?

These 1/72 FW190As are possibly the most popular and sought after of the type and are likely to be equally successful in 1/32...

Re: Suggested schemes for HM Fw-190A8?

one word checkerboardsays it all

Easy model has two versions planned for release one with a Black & White checkerboard like the canceled Corgi the other has a Red & Black checkerboard, easy model planes are nice but I think everyone would agree that a Hobby Master one would be the best.
