Re: 1/72 plane Wishes for HM

I'm not going to number mine because I'd be happy with one (or all) of the following. I'd also be happy with any (or all) marks and/or variations:

Handley-Page Hampden
Bristol Beaufort
Fairey Battle
Martin Maryland
Douglas A-20 Havoc/Boston
Northrop P-61 Black Widow

For this year I'd be happy if they went ahead and released their first Bristol Beaufighter. I've 'overdosed' on Luftwaffe planes this year, so I'm hoping Hobby Master will focus on their Bf 110 for the time being.

Re: 1/72 plane Wishes for HM

Just to satisfy my curiosity, I tallied up the first 108 selections made so far to see how many were for planes not already made in diecast in this scale ( I'm not counting, Altaya, IXO or Model Power models as "done" ). I found 95 requests that fall into the not yet done category---or 88% of the total. This is further evidence for me, at any rate, that diecast makers should not fear to tackle "riskier" aircraft. Let's face it, the P-51s, P-40s, BF-109s and Spitfires have, indeed, been "done to death".

Re: 1/72 plane Wishes for HM

In no particular ranking order (But since I mostly collect WW 2 - I'd like to see those first).

F4 Wildcat
Val
Dauntless SBD5 w/ pilot/gunner with open rear canopy and tail gun deployed. "Mission Beyond Darkness" USS Lexington

(Hoping these could be made w/ a $50 price tag)

F8 Crusader (Vietnam)
A7 Corsair II (Vietnam)
