UPS dropped off a HM Bf 110G-4 G9+EF today

Just received the latest HM Bf 110 today and it is a great looking model. Have to say this may be the nicest looking of the three they have released so far. Looks like this one has a nice light wash and even the wing tanks have wash too (Yeah,,, like the wash). Model also has the aileron balances on correctly and this one has the Schrage Musik gun mount in the rear cockpit. The folks at HM did a real nice job on this one. This one also comes with something the other two did not have. It has the ETC500 bomb rack underneath, hope this opens the possibility of a future fighter bomber variant.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Aileron balances on correct.

Upwards firing Schrage Musik gun mounts. (Can see wash on wing tanks too)

Nice pictures, CC.

I wonder if this mold could be adapted to produce earlier fighter and fighter/bomber variants. Let's see------ with a new nose and canopy, plus new spinners and minor changes to the engine housings and exhausts, isn't a BF-110C model possible?

I think the easiest mod for this mold might be a Bf-110F variant. Current model has the potential for doing some of the earlier Bf 110G-2 fighter and fighterbomber variants with the smaller sized twin vertical stabilizers. Hope the folks at HM are considering some more day time fighter & fighter/bomber variants. Could end up with a whole shelf of Bf 110s.

CC, I only have room for one of these, of the two nightfighters which would you say is the best one in the flesh so to speak, my trigger finger is mighty itchy but I cannot make up my mind which to go for.

This latest one would be my choice between the the two current models. You might want to hold out for the Bf-110G4 ""3C+LB, Stab I/NJG 4, Willi Herget, Shark Mouth though. It will have the corrected canopy for this variant of the Bf 110G (It will also have revised canopies for the previous three models too.).

Thanks for your advice CC, I am trying limit my purchases to one of each type at the moment, although I don't know how long I can hold to this.
I think I will wait for the next issue and see what you think of it.

God Bless America.
