Re: Suggestions for HM's first 2 French Aircraft?

I'll go with the MS-406 first, followed by the Dewoitine D. 520 and Potez 631.

Even though my knowledge of French aircraft is somewhat lacking, I agree with Edward. I am fond of my IXO MS.406 and D.520, but I would love to see how what a HM version of both would look like. Regarding the Potez - heck yes, that's one that we should be begging HM to produce.

C1 is making the P-36 in 1/48 scale.....Pearl Harbor liveries ..... maybe they will make a French version. The Finns used them as well as the NEI airforces and a few others.

Re: Suggestions for HM's first 2 French Aircraft?

What about the HM Mirage 2000?

In any case, I'd like to see some more 1/72 French jets:

Mirage III
Mirage F1
Mystere IV

Many users, all saw combat...

I like the D.520 in 1/48 and the Potez 631 in 1/72.

Second that motion! Plenty of good paint schemes with Hawk 75.

1/72 : Ok for D-520, but I would like to see the Mirage III or the Bloch 174 of Antoine de Saint-Exupery from his book Flight to Arras and the french two engines bomber Leo 451.

Re: Suggestions for HM's first 2 French Aircraft?

For me the first French WW2 warbird MUST be an H75! Of course I want them all, but I really desire an H75!

Re: Suggestions for HM's first 2 French Aircraft?

Tjhe Potez 631does make for a sharp looking twin engine aircraft, and wouldn't mind having a diecast version

How about the ultra streamlined recce version (Ok, maybe not so streamlined).

Neat site with great photos of WWII French aircraft: Rod's WarBirds
