Ooooh! That's nice! I have my chrome JASDF model and have yet to unpack it. But it sure is pretty on the box. That's a nice scheme for our Canadian pals.

I have to agree with you Crow, this is one nice looking bird. The RCAF schemes really make a 104 sharp.*


* On a similar note, I just purchased a FM RCAF F-104 and am awaiting its delivery. I only bought it after seeing pics of the actual model (not the box art used by 95% of the resellers**) which really makes it beauty too. I'm looking forward to getting this one.

** An exaggeration to be sure, but it seems that way.

Very, very nice! I want one! I didn't get the Japanese and am not disappointed. I'm glad I passed that one up, now I can get this one.

The Japanese version seems to have many more stencils than this one.

Where do you see the extra stenciling on the Japanese version?

Looks like a better grey color on the nose radome on the RCAF version.

Jet Collector - I see more stenciling on the wings and near the engine intakes (on the national insignia). Don't you?

I wouldn't call that MANY more stencils.

Besides I can't find any photos of a RCAF CF-104 that indicates much more stenciling is required (Perhaps some additional lettering appears above and in front of the engine intake - but that's about it).
