For the first Gulf War NATO deployed 6 Italian RF-104G's to Turkey along with 18 Belgian Mirage 5's and 18 German Alpha Jets.

Looks like the Vicon Pod is still in production.

I am just pleased to see that the version is the RCAF, with the Ensign insignia..

Due to the high interest in this model it looks like it is officially a production run of 1500 units (up from 1000).

This can be seen on the modeller's choice website (The retailer responsible for commissioning this model). Evidently links to retailer websites are not allowed on this forum.

STOP IT! You're gonna make me buy one too! I have the chrome Japanese 104 already and the NASA 104 on pre-order.

Don't worry we will stop soon..... but can you really miss out on an F-104 with the Vicon pod don't forget once they're gone they're gone.......maybe 2 maybe 3..

Looks great!

Thanks William for taking the lead and making the Vicon Reconnaissance pod a reality.

I can't see how I will be able to limit myself to just one of these!



Now with everybodies

support maybe we can get an AMI like this one .....
