Re: P-61 Black Widow "The Last Stand " Poll

I'm also in for multiples of black and an OD version. The P-61 has some of the best nose art from WW2, which makes multiples of the black paint scheme attractive.

Same here. C'mon HM, what is really preventing you from doing this diecast? Just my humble curiosity....

Re: P-61 Black Widow "The Last Stand " Poll

Yes I would definately get one who ever does it in diecast (in 1/72 of course). But I can see FOV doing it cause they were the first to come out with a B-26 1/72, but I would like HM to do it but I would take anybody at this point. and also it shouldn't matter the there are not that many paint schemes, for one thing the P-61 Black Widow was famous for its black paint scheme,I don't know why any one would want it it in any other color any way. Its name is the BLACK Widow after all. any way it had many different nose arts which I think make up for the lack of paint schemes. And I don't know why no body will make it cause it would sell like CRAZY cause we all want one. GIVE WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am talking to you Hobby Master, Corgi, Forces of Valor and even you IXO. One of you has to finally step up and have the guts to MAKE ONE!!!!!!!!!!!

1/72 is the MASTER scale!

Re: P-61 Black Widow "The Last Stand " Poll

I would buy at least two P-61 Black Widows. Depending on the markings, probably more.

Re: P-61 Black Widow "The Last Stand " Poll

If someone can find 6 distinct paint schemes, for the P-61, it'll have a much greater likelyhood of getting produced. I can only think of the hi-vis black, low-vis black, and OD.

Re: P-61 Black Widow "The Last Stand " Poll

There was also some produced in bare metal, and yellow. But this is not the real problem. How many models out there only have a few base color schemes. B-24 for example. You really have sand, O.D. and bare metal. Yet they are made in all scales.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: P-61 Black Widow "The Last Stand " Poll

If someone does put out a P-61, wonder if there will be any attempt to tone down the black finish for a more weathered appearance.
