Suggestions For Hobby Master's Next Two Japanese Molds

In line with the thread on HM's next two Soviet molds, let's try the same approach for Japanese warbirds of WW II. Again, please remember William's point about 1:72nd scale being a better world wide sales choice for HM, so let's focus on that rather than larger sizes. And, please try to be realistic in your choices. I can't see HM rushing out to do a Mavis in 1:72nd, for example. Also, let's avoid long, rambling wish lists and stick to a top three choices per member format. Here are my top three:

1) Val ( possibly earlier and late Vals from the same basic mold by using two canopies )

2) Oscar ( hopefully both the Oscar I and II from the same basic mold with engine, cowl and prop changes)

3) Betty ( again a chance for early and later versions from the same basic mold with certain modifications--mainly concerning turrets )

Re: Suggestions For Hobby Master's Next Two Japanese Molds

That's a good one.....A Val would be next i think....But man i really want a Japanese Betty bomber bad..
She is so long overdue in the 1:72 scale range...
So i would hope maybe sometime next year we may see a Betty Bomber made by Hobby Master ...they may even have a 1 or 2 more planes
in the pipeline that we don't know about yet.

I will have to agree with this list.
Rumor is that the Val is next, hopefully that is true. I sure would like to see more floatplanes added like the Jake and the Pete although my list will be more for 1/48 than anything else.

My preference would also be for more HM models in 1/48th scale. HM does some fine detailing on their models and I would really like to see them do something like the Pete in 1/48th scale. In 1/48th scale, the Pete would probably be pretty impressive.
