Your #1 pick for Cold War Helicopters

So far the choices have been fixed wing aircraft. How about taking a look at the rotory wing cold war aircraft:
1. Any Cold War Helicopters, current models may not be correct variant, scale or possible quality issue with current models available.
2. Since looking for diecast picks, try to stick with scales 1/72nd, 1/48th and 1/32nd.
3. Yep, one plane and one plane only, no lists.

My number one pick would be the Mi-24 Hind D or E model in 1/72th scale. Ok so what would your choice be?

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Don't do what BDE tells you to do. Do what BDE would want you to do.

AH-1S/T in 1/72 scale.

I'm not much of an aviation collector, more into armour.
But I'm with you on this one. I'll go with the AH-1 and I like my stuff in 1/72

Re: Your #1 pick for Cold War Helicopters

Since I'm a helicopter mechanic and spent most of my life around Bell products. I'd go with a G model Cobra. Then all you would have to do is put a different nose (in this case a TSU) on it and some TOW launchers then you would have a AH-1MOD S. 1/72 scale works for me.

Mi 24 Hind D or E in 1:72 please.

It'd sure be a big bugger though, eh?
