Re: Your #1 pick for Cold War ASW Aircraft

1/72 Shackleton MR.3 for me followed by an AEW.2,MR.2,MR.1,then Neptune MR.1 (RAF version) and 1/72 Nimrod ,Gannet and Sea King ASaC7.

Rumours of a new 1/72 Shackleton MR.2 from Airfix next year .

I remember making the old Frog 1/72nd scale Shackleton many years ago.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: Your #1 pick for Cold War ASW Aircraft

Don't quite fancy ASW aircraft, but if I have to choose, then it will be the Lockheed S-3 Viking in 1/72 scale.

+1 P-3. Would love a US Customs drug interdiction a/c (with UFO radome), as they used to rattle my dorm room rafters at Texas A&M - Corpus Christi (across a small bay from NAS CC).

Continental on other diecast boards
I've spent my money on strippers, diecast airplanes and camera gear. The rest, I've wasted.
