Time for another Poll! A while back we did one covering WWII aircraft, so how about one for the Cold War aircraft? Putting it in the HM section, because,,, well it seems like we have been getting some good results here with are suggestions. So here we go again! (Yep will do other categories too.)

So far threads have been rack and stack lists of what member's favorite type diecast aircraft in various scales might be. It made me wonder what it would look like it you where limited to one plane and one plane only as a choice. Choice guidelines are based on the following:
1. Any 4+ engine Cold War Bomber, current models may not be correct variant, scale or possible quality issue with current models available.
2. Since looking for diecast picks, try to stick with scales 1/72nd, 1/48th and 1/32nd.
3. Yep, one plane and one plane only, no lists.

My number one pick would be the Boeing B-47 Stratojet and in 1/72th scale. Some neat paint schemes with this one. Ok so what would your choice be?

Without question, the B-58 Hustler in 1/72nd scale!

Mmmmm, gotta be one of the V bombers, remember a couple of them flew into the 90s. Almost as long as the B52.

Ok, here it is: Avro Vulcan B.2 either the Black Buck from the Falklands or the white 617 Dambuster versions, preferably both.

Couldn't agree more Rush! The Hustler in 1/72 would be my #1 choice as well.

Honestly, I could go for it in both 1/144th and 1/72nd!

Yeah Rush it would be good to have one in 1/144 to put alongside the b-52's etc. for comparison. But it would be a really impressive piece in 1/72!

You're absolutely right! Would look good sitting next to the 1/72nd jet fighters...
