Re: Your #1 pick for Twin engine Cold War fighter

Sweet little Navy airplane but Voodoos were seen at pretty much every airshow for decades. Besides it's a nice looking airplane and we like to be reminded that we were forced to buy it when we were forced to scrap the Avro Arrow.
CF 101 has lots of different Canadian schemes also. HM would do well to get it on their list.

Speaking of the CF-105 Avro Arrow, why not choose it ? It's not my favourite cold war fighter but as a proud Canadian(not saying your not) I feel I have to vote for it

Never saw operational service, limited schemes, hell our government even cut up the copies made. At least the Brits still have some TSR 2's to drool over.
The CF 101 shows better potential for seeing daylight as a diecast model.

Add the fact that I built one many years ago......

Thats true smartd. I don't have the skill for models though. If this includes non-fighters, change my vote for an OV-10 Bronco

This is going to seem like an odd one-- but I would like to see a US Navy S2F Tracker.

Put me down for English Electric Lightnings BUT ONLY IN 1/48 SCALE (some 1/48 Voodoo's would be nice though).
-----Happy collecting, markko
