Re: Your #1 pick for Twin engine Cold War Bomber

Is Trumpeter's version the Il-28 or the H-5? Or, does it include parts to make either one?
If a diecast was made of this, I hope the model would include the tip tanks. I always thought the tip tanks made it look just >that< much cooler...

Looks like Trumpeter does both an IL-28 Beagle and the Chinese H-5.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

I'm surprised none of you Canadians went for the Banshee...

Sweet little Navy airplane but Voodoos were seen at pretty much every airshow for decades. Besides it's a nice looking airplane and we like to be reminded that we were forced to buy it when we were forced to scrap the Avro Arrow.
CF 101 has lots of different Canadian schemes also. HM would do well to get it on their list.

I have only see the F 101 Voodoo in the air once and that was off of Myrtle Beach when I was a kid. They were going low and fast, thought they look so cool.

Even my X still remembers an airshow opening to the Theme from Rocky 1 as a quartet of Voodoos streaked by. Still cool memory.
