Your #1 pick for Twin engine Cold War Bomber

Time for another Poll! A while back we did one covering WWII aircraft, so how about one for the Cold War aircraft? Putting it in the HM section, because,,, well it seems like we have been getting some good results here with are suggestions. So here we go again! (Yep will do other categories too.)

So far threads have been rack and stack lists of what member's favorite type diecast aircraft in various scales might be. It made me wonder what it would look like it you where limited to one plane and one plane only as a choice. Choice guidelines are based on the following:
1. Any Twin engine Cold War Bomber, current models may not be correct variant, scale or possible quality issue with current models available.
2. Since looking for diecast picks, try to stick with scales 1/72nd, 1/48th and 1/32nd.
3. Yep, one plane and one plane only, no lists.

My number one pick would be the Martin B-57 Intruder and in 1/72th scale. Some neat paint schemes with this one. Ok so what would your choice be?

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

No problem. For the record, I think it was TopHat who said the Voodoo looked like a "pregnant puddlejumper"...

Ah yes, Top Hat, I think the other one Tri Motor said the same.

Cool Re: Your #1 pick for Twin engine Cold War fighter

Remember Wikipedia list the Cold War from 1950 to 1991. Lots of good choices from later in the period. For me, Mig 25 Foxbat!

Thumbs up Re: Your #1 pick for Twin engine Cold War Bomber

Great shout Tedongganas. My vote goes for the Su24. The Su25 Frogfoot could go up against the A-10. Anyone for the TSR 2? Anyone?

Oh man, how great would it be to have a Su-25 Frogfoot in 1/72?
