Afternoon Cold War Single Engine Fighter bean count. Currently we have 31 votes spread over 10 different aircraft.(Mig 15 and F-105D tied for the lead.)

4. Hawker Hunter FGA 9 1/72 1 vote

Looks like the most of the inputs are in with Mig 15 and F-105D taking top honors.

Well, as I have said before, my choice has to be the ultimate interceptor, the Convair F-106 Delta Dart.

As it stands the F-105D and Mig 15 are tied, do we have a tie breaker out there?

While I voted for the F-106 (obviously, great minds do not always think alike), I must add that it seems to me the most obvious choice is the Mig-15.

After watching the -15 and F-86 chase each other around the sky last Saturday at Chino, and given the relatively nice Corgi F-86, as well as the role played by the Mig in Korea, this seem to be the most logical choice, imho.
