Re: T-6 South Africa Preview

Good looking T-6. Local airport has a T-6 in similar livery.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: T-6 South Africa Preview

Thank you for the photographs, William.

This model is yet another indication that Hobby Master knows that there is no such thing as too much of a good thing

I've gotta get me the Harvard/Texans that I don't already have... I know that I have this SAAF bird on pre-order already!

I recall seeing a T-6 with a very similar scheme buzzing into Norfolk IAP quite often back in the 90's. I would also see another T-6 with a really cool overall grey scheme, Navy markings and a green aft fuselage band fly in there regularly as well.

I saw this one and another T-6 at our local museums grand opening a couple weeks back. Nothing like the sound of a radial engine (Well except maybe a Merlin inline or Allison inline). There was also a T-28 visiting too.

Re: T-6 South Africa Preview

Here is another one. Has Canadian connection also as one of the first aircraft in the CHW flying museum.
