Re: Bf-110G4 "Shark Mouth"

Sold!!! This is the exact livery I've been waiting for-110 with a Shark Mouth. That was my main reason for waiting on the Corgi (beside the fact Corgi is doing a C vs. HM's G). Truly awesome news.....

Looking forward to having two Bf 110s with shark Mouth. Even better with the HM adding the canopies to retrofit and correct the earlier models.

Post Re: Bf-110G4 "Shark Mouth"

Found this photo of a Bf 110 night fighter with shark mouth, I wonder if it might be the same aircraft. This one also has a FuF227 Flensburg radar aerial on the starboard wing tip.

I hope this is the one they have in mind

Same here, and if it is I hope they add the aerial on the wing tip too (Just a nice bit of detail).

Yes, you will get 4 canopies altogether for the Sharkmouth.

William that is the way to do business...a good piece of PR on the part of HM .....now if Corgi/Hornby could do the same with their next early Halifax version & include a spare set of correct u/c....

That might be a good suggestion to pass on to the folks at Corgi.

Re: Bf-110G4 "Shark Mouth"

Digging in the net I've found two different colour schemes for announced by HM BF 110G.

Please see in attached photos two examples of BF 110G-4b/R3 with letter code 3C+LB flown by Major Wilhelm "Willi" Herge .

We will see how will HM model would like soon.

Looks like another good looking paint scheme and looks like it might be same as one in black and white photos.
