Re: F2A-3 Preview

I wonder if they might follow this one up with one in Australian markings.

Cruves, this is SO your year!

It does look like another good year for Buffalos and maybe I will get an Australian version. Just curious as to how many of the F2A-3s will be released.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Hi, not too many perhaps. Maybe 3-4 more liveries splitted into around 2 years. The "Midway" one should be the most important one though and it is limited (perhaps HM shouldn't make it limited since there could be more some extra demand of it after a few years).

There will be some adjustments on the production version including the "hatch" behing the pilot's window, the 'white lines' on the frameless canopy.

Looks like another winner there, and glad I put in preorder for this one already. Looking forward too seeing the final touches to the sliding canopy.

Re: F2A-3 Preview

Midway is iconic and all the Americans who died and served there were heroes, so yes my vote goes for keeping a Midway edition open for all the collectors in the years to come.

I agree completely! Or you could keep this one limited and add more Midway versions with different numbers like CW does with their Jolly Rogers Tomcats.

Re: F2A-3 Preview

Not real big into limited additions as it is, like that though of everyone having a shot at a model.

Re: F2A-3 Preview

Yes... it does look very nice, and I look forward to its release. I would prefer it with a wash, though.
