Hobby Masters Pilot Figures Pre Order Sales

Pete's Collectibles is taking pre-orders on the first two sets of HM 1:72nd scale pilot figures, due out in July. These five-per-pack deals are both for U.S. airmen---one is a WW II set, the other is post war. Best of all, the new pilot figures are reasonably priced. At Pete's, if you use his discount coupon, the price per set is $5.35----or just over a buck per pilot. Now that's what I call fair pricing. Thumbs up, once again, for Hobby Master, the company that listens to collectors. I assume that other online sellers will soon be taking orders for HM's pilot figures as well.

Re: Hobby Masters Pilot Figures Pre Order Sales

LOL -- when I read that email about the preorder I read it quick and thought it was $6/pilot!

Glad to see I was wrong

Re: Hobby Masters Pilot Figures Pre Order Sales

That is a decent price. I wonder how long before some of the other nationalities will be available.

Re: Hobby Masters Pilot Figures Pre Order Sales

I'll be watching to see how these look. No offense to Hobby Master but after the figures that came with my 1/32 Dauntless I want to be sure they are in scale and look OK.

That said the price seems reasonable for what you get.

I'll say one thing, their faces look rather downcast. Maybe it's because so many of them will lose there legs when we try to fit them into Dragon or IXO cockpits----and the pilots sense this, somehow.

Or maybe it's all the Corgi Predator and War Bird cockpits they know they will be filling.

Hi,

The modern pilot will be the same you got from the F-4. The WWII pilot is even a bit bigger and it fits the F6F well as I have tested.

Concerning the price, we have tried to keep it as low as possible despite all those inflation. We consider this item as some kind of customer service rather than profit making.

I have put a H/M pilot into both a Dragon P51and P47 with no problem and with no need for surgery

Re: Hobby Masters Pilot Figures Pre Order Sales

Have to put in a pre order for some of these figs. I have a couple of Dragon models that I wouldn't mind putting a fig in.
