I hope HM made medium bomber.....

Since HM and CW made very good models and raise the level of detail,I'll hope HM made medium bomber one day.

Specially:B25,Marauder,ju88,PE2 ect ect but I had a preference to the B25 a lot of scheme with it.....
What do you think of this?

Re: I hope HM made medium bomber.....

There are quite a few twin engine medium and light bombers that have yet to be done. I would like to see aircraft like the Martin B-10, Martin Maryland, Martin Baltimore, Douglas A-20 Havoc, Douglas A-26, Lockheed Hudson Bristol Blenheim Mk.I, Bristol Beaufort, Ki-48 LILY, Ilyushin DB-3, Ilyushin IL-4, P.Z.L. P.37, Los, and pretty much any of the Dornier bombers. Defintely quite a few of the twin engine medium and light bombers still looking to be made.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: I hope HM made medium bomber.....

Based on the way HM is feeling its way and testing the appeal of new product, such as the Kate, while minimizing risk, it will probably start with a safe but, as yet, not duplicated plane of relatively modest proportions. If I am right, this narrows its choices down to planes like the DO-17Z, DO2-17E, A-20 or A-26 rather than already available options like the B-26, B-25, etc. I'm also ruling out risky but, to my taste, highly desirable planes like the Betty, PE-2 or SM-79-----at least in the short term.

I have a feeling that the Betty, Pe-2 or the SM 79 would probably do pretty good. The SM 79 has some pretty neat paint schemes associated with it, that and it would look pretty good as a torpedo bomber too. Welcome to the forum majorfatal.

Absolutely! I'd buy an SM 79 in a heartbeat!

It isn't faith that makes good science, Mr. Klaatu, it's curiosity. Sit down, please. There are several thousand questions I'd like to ask you.

Re: I hope HM made medium bomber.....

I think HM should do anything BUT a B25 there are enough of those out there, Corgi covered it well.
It is time to see something new, PE2 sounds like a great idea or that 3 motor Italian plane savoia-marchetti sm.79 sparviero

I love Polikarpov

A-20, P-61, and A-26. That is what we need.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
