Re: I hope HM made medium bomber.....

I have a feeling it is going to be a sharp looking model (Well, except for the blunt nose thing.).

I like the work HM puts out. I'm sure there will be 2 or 3 Beaufighters I will just have to buy.

Might get lucky and they will make 5 or 6. Wallet will take a major dent for sure.

Re: I hope HM made medium bomber.....

The medium bombers are nice, but Bf-110 / P-38 size is about as large as I want to go with my 1/72 collection. You guys with space to display the heavies are lucky.

Mediums are about my max too, only have one heavy and it is a B-24, well the Catalina is pretty big, and the Wellington is no slouch either.

Re: I hope HM made medium bomber.....

The P-61 gets my vote but how about a post WWII bomber like the B-58 Hustler? In 1/72 it'd be pretty similar/smaller in size to the B-17 or B-24. The Hustler is roughly 96ft long x 56ft wingspan vs the B-17 which is 74ft long x 103ft wingspan and the B-24 67ft long x 110ft wingspan. Besides, the Hustler would look awesome in the HM chrome!

p.s. I know the livery option kills it but it's still nice to dream!!

Re: I hope HM made medium bomber.....

The SM 79 would make for great looking model, and would snag on for sure.
