MkXIV Reference

I was just looking through Osprey's Aircraft of the Aces 81 - Griffon Spitfire Aces, and it has a color plate or photo of three of the HM MkXIV models.

There is a photo of Johnie Johnson's MV268 on page 62.

There is a color profile of Newbery's RB159 on page 35.

There is a color profile of "Ginger Lacy's" RN135 on page 36.

It has a profile of one of Jean Marie Maridor's mounts, but not the one HM modeled.

Also of interest, the scale plan drawings are 1/48 scale, rather than the usual Aircraft of the Aces 1/72.

Thanks for the info! My Jean Marie Maridor's Spitfire is on it's way. Can't wait to pair it up with the V-1 "Doodlebug".
