Re: Next 1/48 from Hobbymaster?

Still hoping for the Macchi Mc 202 or the I-16 that had been mentioned earlier as possible future release.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Another one I would like to see would be the Curtiss P-36/Hawk 75. Lots of paint scheme possibilities with that one.

It looks like it's going to be I-16. At any rate, it'll be a Soviet WWII. I can't believe I'll actually live to see the day when some (heck, any) Soviet WWII aircraft will get a proper representation in diecast. I-16 is definitely a worthy subject and size wise is perfect for 1:48 scale.

Sergey

Nice choice CC, that would get my vote.

I am hoping they put this one out, and with the same numbers they have done with the Brewster Buffalo.

If this be true, I'll buy as many different liveries as HM produces. I want this plane in 1:48, NOW!

Re: Next 1/48 from Hobbymaster?

I'm trying to keep my 1/48 collecting limited to WW 1 and pre-WW 2. So my wish list would be Curtis P-6E, Boeing F4B, Curtiss SBC Helldiver and Boeing P-26. So I didn't vote.

But Hobbymaster is making it hard to be disciplined.

yeah, what he said ditto. If I had to vote to help you guys I would say the Tojo.

I still think the Corsair would be the best choice for the money...

Carousel One is doing that one, announced for August of this year. I posted regarding this under the C1 section.

I voted for the Yak-9 here, with the Ki-44 being my second choice, and Me-262 night fighter third. Agree with comments on FM Me-109s and F-4Us, and I'd certainly buy HM versions of those, but the absence of any Russian 1/48 scale WW II fighter (other than Yat-Min) on the market is totally shameful and should be remedied immediately.
