Cool Re: Pics of second release Kate are up..

I can't say that I was looking forward to this release as some others have but it does look good and that torpedo does make it look the business. Very nice indeed.

Thanks for the heads up BTW Harry. I would have missed it otherwise. Both planes on Hawks site are good but the torpedo and the fact that it was involved in Midway makes that one a no-brainer.

I really like this version but the underside color should not be light gray. It should be semi-gloss pale olive gray close to FS-24201. Lighten it up a little for scale effect.

Finally, a Kate packing a torpedo,,,, just what I wanted to see.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

If I put my fingers in my ears, and start saying "lalalalalalalala" real loudly, will that prevent me from learning the above information??

Come on Cappy - HM will fix it...right William? Some company has got to be the first to finally get this color correct based on all the recent research!

Re: Pics of second release Kate are up..

I have a question,

Looking at the second picture down there seems to be a large gap between the wing root and the fuselage, is this just a shadow on the photo or is there a gap.

This plane is near the top of my ever increasing HM must have list.

God Bless America.

It does not show up as much on the above photo and a rear angle shot on the Hobby Master Collecter page. You might be right on it being a bit of a shadow effect.

Re: Pics of second release Kate are up..

OK, experts, what was the reason/rationale for carrying the torpedo just off center?
