Re: HA7104 1:48 Spitfire Mk.XIVe, Ginger Lacey

Looks like I'll be getting releases #3 and #4 for 1:48 Mark XIV Spit. I like late war RAF and Commonwealth air forces blue roundels markings.

Regards,

Sergey

Look super.. I think we're seeing a new niche in collecting. Having many varieties of the same plane in your collection, as opposed to one or two of each kind. For instance, I have 4 Buffalos, will get more as they are released. Same w/ this HM Spit. Didn't start my collection this way, but love the idea. And the quality of the models. Thanks Elmer.

Impressive looking paint scheme on this one.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: HA7104 1:48 Spitfire Mk.XIVe, Ginger Lacey

I bought the Johnny Johnson Spitfire and was going to buy the Maridor one too, but after seeing this beauty, I will get this one instead.
Too bad it has the clipped wings ( I already have JEJ's one like that ).
The colour scheme is beautiful and it looks superbly applied. I also want a Spitfire to display in my glass shelve reserved for the Far East / Pacific theatre of operations models.

I'm in the same boat. I think you're going to need a pointed wing Spit so the Maridor is a good option too. I'm thinking of getting both.
