Re: How about these Betty's right here.

Yes. But only if it's 1:48 scale.

Agreed, but I can´t start with 1/72 now.I even do not have enough display place for all of my 1:48>>

Lighten up, Frances, maybe you'll be issued in aluminum. The Ginga would make for a great diecast, and would be a real education on planform... I have no idea what one looks like from the top, I've only seen the side from the few rare photos.

This is the best I could find of the upper surface of this one. Some more nice shots of this one at this site: Rod's WarBirds

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: How about these Betty's right here.

Yes, I think a Betty is long overdue; however, I believe it will be at least a year or two before we see one in 1/72nd scale. Right now, with the exception of the Bf-110, Hobby Master is concentrating on single-engine aircraft. After the Kate, we'll probably see a Val, then possibly a MC-202 or a Russian fighter. In 1/48th scale, Marushin put one out so I don't think that Franklin Mint will make one; besides, the only non-American bomber they are producing is the He-111.

Looking forward to annoying the 'former' Florida Diecast Forum members!!

No joke, some beefy engines on this aircraft.

GROAN,

another must have aeroplane, now where would I fit that one into the collection. (1/72 please).
Its good to see HM bringing out more Japanese planes, there is shortage of good Japanese stuff.

IXO Japanese planes are not that bad but HM will be sooo much better.

God Bless America.

Re: How about this Betty right here.

All the ones you listed would make excellent looking models. The Frances would be a real sharp looking and could even get a night fighter out of it too..

I agree she's sweet looking...

But 1st i want a Betty Bomber.....

George Preddy was......Just the greatest fighter pilot who ever squinted through a gunsight.
He was a complete fighter pilot.......Colonel John C. Meyer Deputy Commander of the 352nd.
