What are the chances of seeing a 1:48 or 1:32 F4U Corsair from HM ?

Last edited by STARMAN 352ND : 04-24-2008 at 09:10 PM. Reason: pictures
Of all the warbirds i have in 1:32 this F4U Corsair has been missing in a die-cast...
What are the chances of Hobby Master making this Corsair in 1:32 ?
I would really love to see it done as a VMF-214 Blacksheep or VF-17 Jolly Roger..
I know there are a few of you out there that would like to see this one as well..
even a 1:48 one would be great because no one makes a really nice looking F4U Corsair to date.

I agree, wholeheartedly, JP. I got tired of waiting for a decent larger scale Corsair, so I finally ponied up the cash for the Tamiya Masterwork 1:48 Jolly Rogers Birdcage... what a stunning model of a beautiful aircraft. I would love a 1:32 diecast done with tender loving care.

Can I throw in a 1/72nd scale birdcage Corsair for the list? I'd rather not pay for the pre-built one from Tamiya and Corgi's, well.....

Now that you mention it, I did snap pictures of this one, a long time ago, and forgot to post them. I'll see if I can get around to that tonight. Keep an eye on the plastics threads.

I vote for a 1/32 scale - I have both 1/72 and 1/48 F4U's already. Let's see a 1/32 bird with some cool features (retracting gear, flaps, gun access, detailed engine - folding wings might be a bit much).

32 and 48 Corsair done by HM would be awesome......even with a drooping prop. Count me in!

Why do those cowl flaps look overly open?
