Re: pilots

So who wants to trade my modern pilots for your WW2 guys?? All my modern birds to date have crews. I have many WW2 planes that need pilots.
Also, I'm in the re-paint crowd. I don't think you'll save a whole lot of money on paint at that scale. Sometimes it takes alittle love on our part to get it just the way we like.

alibi: Disregard the trading, first post read this morning. I thought they would come as a group of 10 (5 each). Must drink more coffee.

See ya all in about 15 months!!

Re: pilots

Someone made a point awhile back that the old Airfix kits having useable figures in them. I have 26 kits I was considering pulling the figures from for future use. Thanks to HM looks like they will just be staying in the boxes now.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: pilots

Pre-painted pilots! Perfect! It's refreshing to find a company that listens and responds to the needs of its customers. Thanks.

Re: pilots

I tried putting one of my Hobbymaster pilots into my Dragon P51D to see how it looked today and I am very pleased with it, Also I had no trouble fitting it into place so when H/M get round to releasing these sets I will be buying plenty so at long last my Dragon Warbirds will have crews

Re: pilots

problem is, I don't have the skill to do a good paint job on figures.

I'd paint them for you Captain. I've done it a few times and I can do an okay job.

I'd love to buy them whether they are painted or not.

I'll keep that in mind, HotTrap.

Re: pilots

If these pilot figures can fit into Dragon warbirds without the need for any 'amputation', I will be buying more than a pack for both my Hobby Master and Dragon planes. Hope the local distributor will bring them to Singapore.
