Re: some previews

I pretty sure it will match their Buffalo in quality and hope they space them out a bit for my wallets sake. Preproduction photos really looking promising, plus really like how well the rigging looks on this one.

Be interesting to see if they can improve of the Corgi rigging quality -- about half my Corgi bipes have at least one very loose or detached wire. With the larger scale it may be easier to get it right...

Re: some previews

I don't want to start a new thread to say this, but just look through the list of new posts under HM -- Vals (probably), Kates, F3Fs, Beaus, Phantoms, Hawks (!?) -- and a lot of enthusiastic chatter. Amazing what this one company is doing. Does anyone know where they came from -- any of their history? They seem to be packing a lot of expertise and business sense for newbies. (At the rate they are going, though, they might think of offering their own branded credit card.)

Re: some previews

Hi Guys,

Some previews from HM :
1) F3F (wired and with adult pilot (very important))
2) F-100 (without pitot tube in the photo but please don't worry)
3) Harvard South Africa (orange color too light but will be corrected).

Tried to contact you through your email address, William (this one: williamliu@hobbymaster.hk), but it didn't (wouldn't) go through. Got another?

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Re: some previews

DITTO! What the Funkadelic! I don't have the money or space for 1/48 planes, no matter how good they look. HM's F3F and their Buffalo both look great, but I'll never get any of them. I really wish HM would stick to 1/72, or at least do their 1/48 planes in 1/72 also, which will probably never happen.

What a waste!!!

Re: some previews

Ya' know... there are 1/48 collectors out there. Believe it or not. I don't belly ache everytime a 1/72 mold is released of a model I want in 1/48. This "no 1/48 for me" and "what a waste if it is not 1:72" whining gets real old. Last I checked, the vast majority of HM's models are 1/72. Consider yourself blessed.

And I consider myself blessed to have at least a few high quality 1/48 scale diecast models. Thank you Hobby Master, and I hope you will continue to offer the line with future releases.

Re: some previews

In most cases, I prefer 1:72, but I like my WW I birds in 1:48 as they are just too small in 1:72. I prefer my WW II in 1:72, but have five or six 1:48, so I can go either way on my "between the wars" birds! In other words, I'm easy!
