Hobby Master Beaufighter choices

Why not list the top 3 to 5 Beaufighters you would like to see Hobby Master make. A particular pilot, squadron, country, whatever and it would be nice to know why you made these choices - just paint scheme, was an ace etc.

I think many people expect a Mk1c, the Guy Gibson "Night Fighter" will be hot (as told by Gary Ford).

Re: Hobby Master Beaufighter choices

The 3 most important variants for the Beaufighter would be the Mk IF-night fighter, the Mk VI- fighter/bomber, and the Mk X-torpedo bomber. These were produced in the greatest numbers and made the most impact on the war, from the Allies point of view.

Looking forward to annoying the 'former' Florida Diecast Forum members!!

Re: Hobby Master Beaufighter choices

The Beaufighter does have a pretty large selections of paint schemes to work with. These would be some paint schemes that I would like to see done.

Now this is an odd looking Beaufighter. Rolls-Royce Merlin version just does not look right compared to the Bristol Hercules powered version.

Images from Squadron publications Beaufighter in action.

Re: Hobby Master Beaufighter choices

Anti shipping type with torpedo would be great, or rockets.

So many schemes out there even a Malta version would be great

And how about a rear gun position?
