My 1/32 F-4J Phantom VF-84 is like that as well. At first i thought it was upside down or something until i actually saw photos of it like that.

Re: Pics: HM Phantom "Ritchie" HA1901

I opted to go ahead and pick up the Ritchie Phantom now because if I waited, these would probably be gone and this is one I know I'd regret not getting in the long run. The Phantom is a nice piece and most of the photos I have seen really don't do the finish justice.I haven't assembled it yet, so I can't comment on the fit of the pieces, but I do like the fact that the hardpoints come optional and in similar style to Century Wings stuff.

I've decided to wait for the Jolly Rogers F4 given that I'm limiting myself to just the one ...

Yup, 'fraid so as one has to draw the 'diecast' line somewhere ... it's a very 'purty' aircraft though, notwithstanding the recent not too 'heroic' history of its former pilot .

Re: Pics: HM Phantom "Ritchie" HA1901

Just received my Richie and it is a real beauty! The detailing and paint work is first rate. Though I have read concerns about panel line depth, I see no problem at all with it. Pete's also included the 555th squadron patch which is a very nice add-in. Can't wait for HA1902.

Re: Pics: HM Phantom "Ritchie" HA1901

I love the 'Richie' bird. Landing this week are 'Showtime' 100 and the RAF F-4 J Tiger Hobbies Commission. HM seem to be taking all my cash lately;what will I do when Cornby resume? Space and cash at a premium as usual. Kate and Gemini caputured P-51 on pre-order too

Re: Pics: HM Phantom "Ritchie" HA1901

Is the red warning stripe around the fuselage behind the wing supposed to be there for this particular aircraft?
