I'm in for at least three. Two tone blue, dark blue and Atlantic grey/white.

Re: Helldiver 1/72 scale in the works

Well lets hope Hawk and William see this thread. Now was there a Army TBF/M ?? LOL

An A-24/A-25 will be interesting, but a whole new tail wheel is needed as I know. I need to discuss with my team for this development.

The Helldiver will have pilots.

Thank you for taking this under consideration. Both the A-24 an A-25 would make for unique diecast models.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

And no landing gear on the War Bird models.

Sure they have landing gear! It's just tucked up!

A24 Banshee - Air Force Museum.

Oh yeah, A-24 Banshee looks pretty good. I wonder if this is painted like one of the A-24s that were initially sent to the Philippines?

Re: Helldiver 1/72 scale in the works

I love Hobby Master! They are willing to look back on the SBD and give thought to a A-24 Banshee. And possibly doing a A-25 with the Helldiver model. I just hope they have U.S. Army on the bottom of the wings if they do produce both of these. Hobby Master is the company of the year, and its only April!

On a seperate note. Since the Helldiver will come with crew, is there a chance (in the future) we could purchase pilot packs from HM? I'd love to outfit all my SBDs, TBF/Ms and Hellcats with your pilots. A pack of ten pilots and crew would do I think. I'd have to get several sets though.

See ya all in about 15 months!!

Seated pilot figures would probably be a hot selling item.
