Re: And the winner is...Hobby Master?

Helldiver oh heck yea !!! Beau- what ?? Not for me, but happy for the others. Where is that link of all the possible liveries I posted so long ago for the Helldiver?
Now on the P-40 front, go for the early models. That small mouth just looks so right on that airframe. Corgi has beat the late models to death.
While I understand the lack of variety for the P-61 ( Black or OD ). I'm sure you / we could find six great examples ( 3 for each color ) for HM that would sell. Heck I have 5 x B-17s and 5 x B-24s from Corgi, I can do six P-61s from HM.

Re: And the winner is...Hobby Master?

Here hopefully is the link to the Helldiver liveries I posted before. The Atlantic one would round out the fleet ( SBD and up-comming TBF/M ). Post #34

Re: And the winner is...Hobby Master?

This P-40 would go good with all the Boyington Corsairs out there.

Re: And the winner is...Hobby Master?

Hi Guys,

Thank you for all the inputs.

Currently we are developing the 1/72 SB2C Helldiver and a Beaufighter. One to 2 more new toolings will be devleoped in this year but we need to keep some secrecy on this. The long awaited P-61 will be a good but a risky choice due to its rather limited color scheme available and size.

For the P-40, it is a significant aircraft which worth development for year 2008.

That is GREAT!!!!! news. even though I already have a 1/72 Beaufighter from IXO it will be great to see it done by HM. Even though there are not many paint schemes for the P-61 that shouldn't matter, it played an important role, it would not be right to ignore it just because there are not many choices. And its not that big, its about the same size as a B-25 Mitchell. I bet it would sell like crazy cause everybody wants it made!
I also think that HM would be the perfect company to finally make the Val and the Devastator.

1/72 is the MASTER scale!

Hi Guys,

Some Soviet Jet/Propellers will be interesting, as well as for the recommendation of F-5 and A-1.

But we need to keep some secrecy on the planning. HM will promise to bring in more excitement in 2008/2009.

Great news about the Beaufighter William now how about the Heinkel He219 UHU to compliment the Bf110 night fighters

The F-5 and A-1 were on alist last year as well an A-7. Even though Century Wings is making an A-7. I hope HM does as well. I think thats the only way we will ever see USAF/ANG and other the other countries that used the A-7. I'd sure like to see a 2 seat F-5B/T-38.
I can see buying a Beaufighter and a P-61. A ME-410 would be nice too.

The new curio arrives today, and what do I find when I log on here? Interesting airplanes to fill it with! The SB2C is a great choice. As is the Beaufighter. And please do the P-40 (you can never have enough P-40's). My preference would be an 'N' as first choice and a 'B' second. There were more 'N' versions produced than any other mark, but then with the 'B' you get the AVG as well as the Commonwealth desert schemes (and Cadwell's mount).
