Re: And the winner is...Hobby Master?

If they made three black and three OD P-61s I bet they'd sell just fine. I'd probably get all 6 in the ned.

P-61 looks pretty good in the OD paint scheme, kind of prefer it to the all black paint scheme.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

P61 sounds good to me, a Tigercat would be a real treat too but I doubt we will ever see that.

HM offer very good value so I hope they are making money out of their efforts so that they will continue to bring out new releases to fill the gaps.

It still amazes me that they took the risk and came out with the Buff!
That was an unexpected treat.

On a personal note I hope that maybe HM would consider making an early P40.
Thats just a personal wish, but then of course there is a whole stack of Japanese stuff to make for my Flying Tigers to shoot down.

BTW, when I look at the prices of Corgi models in the UK I find it difficult to believe that they cannot make a good profit.

God Bless America.

I can't talk about the P-61 right now sorry fellas........
It hurts too much to know they won't be making one anytime soon....
I really think if the market was doing better they might of made the P-61.

P-40B or C model would work for me. Couple of AVG, RAF North Africa (Yep, with a toothy grin), and maybe defence of Philippines paint scheme. 1/48th would be nice, but would prefer 1/72nd scale (Can display more).

We can hope that once the market settles down and the economic situation improves that perhaps HM will reconsider their decision.

God Bless America.

Jim -
I've asked Hawk1 to pass the P-40 suggestion to HM awhile ago. Well ever since it looks like Dragon stopped thiers. Personally I want a small mouth P-40 much like FOVs but in HM quality. The early ones just look so sleek and sexy.

Yep, P-40 B and C model definitely had a streamlined look to them.
